We wanted to thank you all for helping us find a wonderful family friend. Maverick is a great dog and we have enjoyed his first week with us so much. He is eating well, enjoyed trips to the park and the lake, and follows the kids around everywhere. They love him!
We found a nice vet and he said Maverick looks very healthy.
Thanks, again, for all the love and care you showed him.

JuJu is doing great! He has gained 5 pounds of muscle, and is incredibly fast and nimble. He really enjoys our ‘Back Country’ Agility training. And he has almost completely lost his fear of being ‘caught’. I can get a leash on him anywhere, no problem. He is incredibly smart, but mellow and adjusts to any new situation like he’s done it a million times.
Everyone loves him! In fact I know a few people who would like to clone him. So, if anymore JuJu ‘Dupree’ -type dogs come your way, please give me a heads up. He has impressed people here enough that they’d be willing to drive to Houston to pick up a dog. Hope all is going well with the rescue!

In short, Junebug is doing great! She’s the perfect addition to our family and everyone who meets her, loves her! She has thoroughly enjoyed our Thanksgiving holiday at both the grandparents’ houses. She loves exploring new places.
Her veterinarian says that she’s about done growing and at 26 lbs, we think she’s perfect. I think she must have some sort of bird dog in her because she watches the birds fly over our back yard, she LOVES trying to chase the ducks at our neighborhood pond, and she was extremely interested in the chickens on our walks at my mom’s house. If she’d been off the leash, I think she would have gotten one! :)We are so thankful for you and your family for having rescued her and cared for her and posting her on K-9 Angels’ website for us to find. We wish you guys a wonderful holiday season full of love, laughter and lots of doggie kisses!!

Thank you so much for allowing us to adopt Ruby. She has been the perfect fit for our family. She takes turns sitting in our laps and sleeps the entire night on our bed. It took a few days for her to learn to trust us after her unfortunate upbringing but now feels perfectly at home. I am including a few pictures of her in her new home…..she’s been to the groomer, but we kept the shaggy look…..it’s so cute!
